Plant & Wildlife

Visitors to Juniper Hill Field are FOR NOW blessed by sightings of a wide variety of bird, butterfly, and plant species. Some of them, like the Duke of Burgundy butterfly are rapidly declining. 

A significant number of the bird species spotted in Juniper Hill Field are UK Birds of Conservation Concern (BoCC). Those birds where there are real concerns are on the Red List, those where there are moderate concerns are on the Amber List.  We have highlighted them in the list below.
